What a strange film - it starts off very oddly, before finally getting to the meat of the story, a police detective who turns to a life of crime, twice over. Overall, it was not great, but Thomas Jane was impressive in the lead.

I saw this film long ago, but didn't remember it at all. It's an interesting piece, with a strange style - it's the future, but it looks like the 1950s. There are fascinating questions related to eugenics, though I didn't find the society terribly realistic. Overall, it was interesting stylistically, but far from great.
