Letterboxd — Your life in film

Better the second time, I can see all 3 acts now, but that doesn't forgive the first time around.

One for fans of the game I guess.

Part film, part soft-core porn, part art installation, all cheese.

It wouldn't be fair to review this in the context of the modern day, so I won't. It's much loved, much remembered and 100% cheese.

Decent film in its own right, although a little sluggish in places. Seems to show relationships which have been built off camera, which I guess you get to see more of in the book, but once you accept those, it works very well.

It might have high aspirations, but it was lethargic, dull, mostly predictable and misogynistic beyond words.

Confused, and not sure what it's trying to be, Blitz in the end is okay, but flawed.

Average thriller with some good moments. I find it hard to be objective, having seen most of the movie at one time or another without ever having seen the whole thing until today.

Exactly what you come to expect from a Statham movie. It's the spiritual successor to the action movies of the 80's. Fast paced, light on story, heavy on action and a few laughs along the way. Just what we expected, just want we wanted, and enjoyable easy fun.
