Peter Roberts’s review published on Letterboxd :
This film, like Miami Vice ended up being a major dissapointment to me. The crime genre, and especially stories about gangsters are my favorite kinds of films. To see this High-Definition version of the John Dillinger story with Johnny Depp constantly walking an inch from the camera and smirking alot wasn't much of an experience. Nothing in this was remotely interesting or fresh to me. I'd take John Milius' 1973 low budget B-film Dillinger with Warren Oates over this anyday. Another post Heat dud from Mann.
