Philip Kennedy’s review:
Perhaps one of the best and most believable romances seen on screen.
Maybe it's unintentional (and I imagine that it is), but one of my favourite things about this film is figuring out for myself whether-or-not I love these characters. With all their navel-gazing and pseudo-intellectualism, Jesse and Celine are two characters which you shouldn't care for, yet as the film develops it seems impossible not to fall for their charms and root for their relationship. You start to fall for them in the same way that they fall for one another.
A sweet, charming and throughly romantic film about love.
