Heartwarming romantic drama about a young American who is dispatched to Krabi, Thailand in search of coffee beans. Whilst there he falls for his guide, whose family need the deal to go through to ensure their future… alas his boss has other motives. Thai/English films are difficult to pull of successfully but this one works well, with a solid, more densely plotted story than I’d imagined, and characters that you actually care about.
