Phil Newton’s review:
Chris Farraday (Mark Wahlberg) is forced to take one last job running contraband on a ship to pay off a debt that his brother-in-law owes. Needless to say, things don't go smoothly. Remaking his own Icelandic thriller Reykjavik - Rotterdam, director Baltasar Kormákur oozes confidence and delivers an entertaining film. Sure, the outcome is pretty easy to predict, but there's a solid cast and it does what it does well.
Well I didn't know it was a remake! I've heard of the original, do I need to check it out? Otherwise I enjoyed this as well, Wahlberg is much better in this type of film. I also really liked the Soundtrack, it's got some great songs on it and some nicely composed music.
