Spread 2009

Phil Newton’s review:
A young pretty boy in LA targets rich middle-aged women to furnish his playboy lifstyle, but then gets played himself by a young waitress. The first half of Spread is light, fun and sexy, but sadly falls into generic romantic drama territory in its latter half. It’s an easy watch, nicely shot by David Mackenzie (Hallam Foe) and the rapidly improving Ashton Kutcher is well cast in the lead role.
