Phil Newton’s review published on Letterboxd:
Unbroken is based on the true story of Louis Zamperini (Jack O'Connell), an Olympic athlete and soldier, who in WW2 found himself adrift on the ocean for days before becoming a POW at a Japanese camp. A tale of strength in the face of adversity, in Angelina Jolie's hands it's a worthy story but told in clichés. O'Connell once again builds on his growing reputation and makes a good fist of an American accent to boot.
