Are you sure that you didn't watch Another 48 Hours by accident and give it this rating. I rewatched Another 48 Hours recently and think it is Walter Hill's worst film because it is really boring, silly and doesn't make a whole lot of sense plot was and the characters are reduce to silly people, but I remember liking the first one and the characters that were introdurced. It has been awhile with the first one, so I could be wrong.
I haven't seen the second one, but I can only imagine what contrivance they use to get the characters back together again. My problem with this movie is that it isn't funny and the plot isn't particularly memorable. It just has a few memorable scenes and a lot of filler.
The second one's plot is even sillier in how they get together and there is this killer who is out to get them that nobody has seen and the police suspect Nick Nolte is him. Doesn't make any sense and the plot is somehow tied to the first one I think and what is sad is that I have only seen it a few months ago a d remember very little from it.
