My All Time Favourite Films
Pretty much what the header says, these are films that repeatedly blow me away, inspire me or I keep returning to no matter what.

This is an awesome list
Cheers Fraser :-)
Dude ... The Village!?
Hey, it's not that bad! Roger Deakins, James Newton Howard, I liked it more as social commentary than as a horror film. But then Shyamalan never really makes horror films, which I think is part of the problem. And now he just makes shit films :P
There was a Cracked article about re-visiting Shyamalan films and finding they weren't as bad as initial viewings might have suggested. Personally I thought it was all downhill after Sixth Sense
I did my own two-part retrospective a few months ago. It's long, but if you like a giggle or a different perspective:

Nice collection, great choices!
Raj, normally I would say you have pretty good taste. But, Pirates of the Caribbean 2?
And where is Mean Girls? Because we all know you can't live without it.
I don't like any of the Pirates films on an objective level, but how anyone can dislike Pirates 2 I really don't know. C'mon: voodoo lady living in a swamp, insane pirate crew, hilarious cannibals, undead love-sick ship captain villain with crazy tentacle beard action, swashbuckling action in a tropical churchyard and cemetery, the fact that (unlike the first film) it's actually shot in the Caribbean and not in San Diego, I mean this is the closest we'll EVER get to a "Monkey Island" movie!
And sadly I was too old for "Mean Girls". I'm a "Breakfast Club" generation kid.
Ugh, The Breakfast Club. Why anyone likes that movie I'll never know.
And Raj, if you're going to like one Pirates film, it has to be the first one. That's just, the rules of feminism
I spy with my little eye something beginning with Temple, and ends with Doom. The doomed temple, and Indy all together makes any list, a good list.
