Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans 1927 ★★★★

I had this film recommended to me by several people and am so glad I made the effort to see this at my favourite cinema Picturehouse @FACT in Liverpool. Such a joy to watch this sweet story.
For a silent film, most of the acting isn't too OTT as it is in many however, you still feel the emotion in the film and it conveys how the two leads are feeling. Some very funny scenes also to balance the emotive ones. The acting is superb and I truly believed in the relationships involved.
As an animal lover, I did enjoy the scenes involving the dog, although he is no Uggie! lol
