George Bartlett’s review published on Letterboxd:
Silver Linings Playbook is an uplifting movie that will make you think, make you laugh and make you cry. This movie is an emotional roller coaster driven by Bradley Cooper, who blows it out of the water as Pat, who finds a silver lining in Tiffany, played by Jennifer Lawrence. The cast also includes Robert De Niro, Jacki Weaver and Chris Tucker, all of whom threaten to steal the show at at least one point in the movie delivering heartfelt moments that will bring a tear to your eye. By the third act the movie becomes fairly formulaic, but you're so invested in the characters and are so desperate for them to succeed, you wouldn't want it to end any other way. With great chemistry between characters and a fair share of uplifting and heartwarming moments, Silver Linings Playbook is a must-see for everyone.
