This is probably the scariest F-ing thing I've ever seen. Whoever wasn't supervising me when I watched this on HBO at age 8 should be fired. On rewatch, its pretty damned scary still. I've seen some say the special effects look dated. I didn't think so. I don't love when you "see the monster" usually. In this case, what the monster does when you see it, is so messed up that it is just terrifying. Kurt Russell is an understated action hero. He's awesome, but still seems realistic. Great movie!
