After watching all of the other single films, I watched with a sense of heightened anticipation, and a measure of dread thrown in. Part of me was excited to see a group of heroes in their own right thrown together in a mish-mash of powers and scenes, and similarly, dreading the very same thing.

However, who else but Joss Whedon could do all of that, and make the film great, funny, spectacular, awesome, sad and victorious at the same time.

Not quite as epic as Batman I feel, that may be because of personal preference, but an enjoyable two hours full of laughs, explosions, charismatic characters, stand out moments, a really great villain.
