Another solid QT film. Solid performances all around. Would have like to see a little more of Leo in this film, but that's just my preference. Surprisingly, I really enjoyed what Jamie Foxx brought to the table. The only downside I see with the film is that there are a few loose ends when it comes to story lines. Hopefully with the DVD release we will be able to see the extended version and I'm sure I will make this a 5 star picture then.

    ★★★ Watched 24 Nov, 2012

It was good, but not great by any means. I thought the first half lagged and the story was slow developing. Personally, I am tired of this series wasting too much time analyzing Bond's weaknesses. Anyways, the ending was strong and Javier Bardem was a good choice for the villain. I do look forward to the next chapter of Bond films.

  • Argo 2012

The first 20 minutes are really slow as the story is still being unveiled. Once it gets going, the film is extremely enjoyable. Loved the overall casting too.

Do you remember playing a racing game in the arcade as a kid? Just when it gets good, it asks you to put in another quarter to continue. That's how this film is. Takes 2 hours for the film to get into the story and actually entertain and then it just ends. I recommend waiting until the trilogy is complete to see these films.

  • Silver Linings Playbook 2012

    ★★★½ Watched 08 Dec, 2012

Definitely recommend seeing this film. Bradley Cooper stole the show. It was nice to see him play this type of role and his character grew on me as the movie went on. The only down side of this film was Chris Tucker. His role was minimal, but I believe they needed to cast someone who could make the character "pop". It just felt forced and awkward.

This was my first Wes Anderson movie. I did enjoy parts of the film, but I feel like I would have appreciated it more if I had seen a few of his previous films.

This should sum it up... I fell asleep.

  • Zero Dark Thirty 2012

    ★★★★ Watched 25 Jan, 2013

Film starts and ends very strong. The middle of the film has a solid lag. Is it me or does James Gandolfini feel out of place in this film? Anyways, check out the movie of the year.

  • The Hunger Games 2012

    ★★★ Watched 25 Jan, 2013

Not the type of film I would normally check out, but I decided to give it a whirl. I did enjoy the film for what it is. I do want to check out the books as I feel they would fill in some of the gaps in the film.

  • The Master 2012

    ★★★½ Watched 06 Oct, 2012

Really enjoyed this film and it was a pleasure seeing Joaquin return to the big screen. My one issue with this film was I felt Amy Adams was a terrible choice for the role of 'Peggy Dodd'. Her lines felt forced and were not very convincing. This film is definitely worth checking out.

  • Lincoln 2012

Daniel Day Lewis killed it as usual. This film is strictly nothing but quality dialogue. Really enjoyed the fact that the ending didn't overshadow the rest of the film. Two thumbs up.
