You seem to have seen a lot of films. And we do share a lot of the same tastes. So I'm just wondering, why do you grant the latest blockbuster a spot at your #1? I think you should at least give it a year or two to simmer in your mind before adding a newly released film to this list- at least to the the top. Also, your list is heavy on the last 35 years. I suggest going on a quest to see the best films pre-1980. Have you seen Dr. Strangelove, M, Touch of Evil, Rear Window (or any Alfred Hitchcock), Lawrence of Arabia, The 400 Blows, The Bridge on the River Kwai, The Searchers, or The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly? If not, those are a good place to start/continue.
i have watched a lot of films from 1980 but most of them don't click with me. i just put the avengers at number one because i am in love it but i moved down but do need to see it more times to see where it really belongs on the list.
I'm glad im not the only one who thinks Assassination Of Jesse James is a masterpiece.
Solid list, you have great taste in movies
i could talk about my love for jesse james for hours.
