Silly horror hokum with laughable acting, Southern clichés, pedestrian directing and killer worms. Only for fans of bad movies although the M3STK version is pretty funny.

"Nobody was listening to me."
Eli Hayes captures the malaise and the profound loneliness of urban youth in this terrific short film that he also stars in. This was hard to watch because I connected to this so strongly, it echoed my feelings when I was in my early twenties. Powerful stuff.

Yesterday, I finally saw this brilliant and hilarious film at the cinema and had high hopes for it, as is usual for any PT Anderson film, and I wasn't disappointed! Thomas Pynchon and PT Anderson feel like a match made in heaven and and it appears, at least on the outside, that they both share a predilection for dizzying and jumbled, even incoherent, narratives. I just laughed my ass off and enjoyed the ride for all it was worth.
