The Straight Story 1999
Well. I have finally watched it. As the title goes, this is a straight story unlike all other Lynch films i have seen. This is one reason why the director is versatile and is capable of giving what the world wouldn't expect from him. There is no sign throughout the movie which says this is a David Lynch film. Right from the use of melodramatic music, everything is different. It is a compliment if you know what i mean.

Dead Man's Shoes 2004
This is stunning. Pain & Anger. I can see right there in his eyes. Paddy Considine and his monstrous performance will make you go frantic. Revenge is best when served cold. And it is.
Tyrannosaur's seed was laid here. Strong screenwriting. Beautiful film-making.
