Very well directed from a visual standpoint, but sometimes at the expense of narrative coherency. There were a couple of elements/characters/actions, that did not seem to make sense. Perhaps it just needs a second view, though I'm not sure I'd ever really spend that time. A bleak picture of the drug world in Mexico. A few great long takes/tracking shots.
