An evenly-paced super-hero movie that hit all the right notes in all the right places. Sure, there were a few tacky, OTT and even cheesy moments, but on the whole quite engaging. Good to see Christian Bale having the opportunity to shine and Michael Caine is, as ever, a pleasure to watch. My wife gave it a 4/5 :)
