The central relationship plays out as expected, and Shirley MacLaine is pretty weak in this role at times, but overall it was pretty fun.
What I love most about rivers is you can't step in the same river twice. The water's always changing, always flowing. But people, I guess, can't live like that. We all must pay a price. To be safe, we lose our chance of ever knowing what's around the river bend! Waiting just around the river bend! I look once more just around the river bend! Beyond the shore where the gulls fly free. Don't know what for. What I dream the day might send just around the river bend for me. Coming for me.
I Killed My Lesbian Wife, Hung Her on a Meat Hook, and Now I Have a Three-Picture Deal at Disney 1993
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure he hung his wife on a meat hook and then killed her.
It feels like a return to old-fashioned Star Wars, in large part simply because of the production. I'll be honest, the CGI reproductions of old characters bothered me a little, but their inclusions were necessary for the story. I thought everything else was great though. We're given a great group of likeable, humorous, and well-developed characters with a nicely written story.
