This is still my Favorite Kevin Costner film! why where do i start i love the fact that hes playing the bad guy in essence, you know the one your not supposed to like. hes truly captivating and his chemistry with William hurt is incredible.
Sorry i got carried away then, let me set the scene you have a successful business man earl brooks (Kevin Costner), he has a loving wife and daughter, and he has Marshall (William Hurt) his psychopathic serial killer alter ego. everything's going fine until that one night when character mr smith (Dane Cook) witnesses earl and marshals sadistic game.
With mr smith blackmailing earl, marshals thrust for killing and detective Tracy Atwood on his case earl has to figure out how to deal with his complected life style in this beautifully casted cat and mouse game.
The performances from all the cast are electrifying and my Favorite quote will always be "What I want... is for you, to take me with you next time you kill someone. And I'd like that to be soon".
