Tepid, stale, hollow. Haywire follows the trend of the last few Soderbergh films; technically brilliant but the characters remain devoid of any real soul nor is there any risk-taking in terms of the storytelling. I wasn't mad at Carano's acting, though.

A sloppy, revisionist retelling of the Robin (or Robert, in this case) Hood legend. Watching this film in stereo, the sound design makes it difficult to understand a lot of the dialogue. Basically it just feels like a sequel to Gladiator.
