The Hunger Games 2012

Arne Ebner’s review:
Hunger Games is loud, flashy, overproduced and cold.
A shaky handcam, permanent focus shifting and fast cuts were hurting my eyes after a few minutes. Sometimes these techniques are used to provide a certain atmosphere or to draw the attention of the viewers to important issues. Not in The Hunger Games. It's just for style, bad implemented.
No character progression, an uninspired scenery, one-dimensional CGI-effects. And Lenny Kravitz wearing golden eyeshadows.
It's obvious, the movie is focused on a young, Twilight-influenced audience. Very light to consume, flat and missing some dirt in nearly every aspect.
