Well, if you can only speak English anyway. In no particular order.

  • Great list! Good to see Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance instead of the usual Oldboy.

  • It's too wide a net you've cast......but some good films there. Seen 'em all barring Flame and Citron due to the cover putting me off.

  • @Richard cheers!

@Twan yeah, but I tried to do an all time Top 10 and it was too hard so I thought I'd do a few top 10's with various themes, ken? It was tough to filter out the last few places but hey, it's only a game! haha! What would you have in there? Le Haine?

  • Not sure, it's too confusing, seems about 80% of stuff I watch is subbed.
Have you seen the Rare Export shorts? I enjoyed them far more than the feature length one. I watched both on youtube, not sure if they are still up.

Anyway, make more top tens. Top twenties infact. Comedy next.

  • Also, I can't remmeber half the shit I've watched, let alone if I liked it or not.

  • Aye, I know what you mean.

  • Comedy, that's hard! Including or excluding stand up? Plus, films that are supposed to be comedies or those that are just the funniest regardless of whether they're supposed to be action/drama/whatever?

  • I'd leave stand up for another fun time. I reckon things that are meant to be funny rather than things like The Room that are funny due to how terrible they are. That's another piece of homework right there.

  • You've included three of my favourite films in Let The Right In, The Skin I Live In and Pan's Labyrinth. Planning on watching Amores Perros this weekend actually. My watchlist is growing all the time :P

  • @Ollie Cool! Have you seen Biutiful? You'll probably like that too if you aint. Uncle Boonmee is very strange, but funny (if you have my kind of humour), Man Bites Dog is also very funny, but a bit sick. Pinch of salt job. Flame & Citron = straight forward but good war/rebel film.

  • Javier Bardem, right? That's one I really need to get round to.

  • Yeah, I struggled to leave that one out, it's a great film.

  • Was gonna suggest that myself. Thought you loved City of God and Yo Mamma Unt A Tambourine?

  • Yo Mamma's alright! ;-) I think it's decent but it's not great. City of God is cool yeah. Maybe I should switch Flame & Citron with Biutiful? I dunno, I bummed both. I think you would like biutiful mo' but I quite like modern WW2 filums???

  • I forgot about The Consequences of Love too, that's a minter!

  • Great little list of films as I have been meaning to see most of these. Only one I've seen so far is Pan's Labrynth.

  • Cheers! I've added a few more since I can't quite squeeze what I want in to a top 10. There's loads of others I think are great too of course...

  • Yeah hey why limit yourself? That's why I have 34 (and counting) in my list.

  • Yeah good call!
