Ryan Moccia’s review:
The Skin I Live In feels like a poster child for shock value cinema. It masquerades as an art house piece, but the deeper into the film you dare to venture, the more obvious it becomes that it's main goal is to unsettle you.
This is disappointing considering the films subject matter touches on some very interesting themes and ideas, however none of them are ever fleshed out, just quickly abandoned once your visceral reaction to them has passed.
