Very easy to trash, of course, but just as easy to overlook what finely-calibrated trash this is. The amdram aesthetic, genuinely startling casting choices (Stellan Skårsgard?) and performances that verge on outsider art make this the antithesis of cynical, self-satisfied Rock of Ages.
