Storage 24 2013
A few touches and some characters you can actually tell apart raise this slightly above the average SyFy-type monster movie.

The Awakening 2011
Not bad at all. Went in expecting a atmospheric ghost story and got that. The only complaints I would have would qualify as spoilers, so yeah. Good.
Well, I guess I can say this. Most ghost stories, at least the ones I'm familiar with, are mysteries. Someone gets freaked out and in the process unravels a mystery. My only complaint is that when the mystery is resolved, it's a little complicated. Not a lot, but just enough to bug me ever so slightly. Still worth watching.

Girl, Interrupted 1999
Remember when we all thought Angelina Jolie was a good actress?

The Hills Have Eyes Part II 1985
The worst thing ever. Exhibit A: A dog gets a flashback. Case closed

Im Schloß der blutigen Begierde 1968
Oh letterboxd, making me look up the foreign titles of things.

What the Peeper Saw 1972
Saw the uncut 95 minute version. If you see that, it will be obvious what was cut to get it to 89 minutes. I don't know about the edit, but the uncut version is unnerving as hell.

Called "Nightmares" on Netflix

Revenge of the Dead 1983
Rather digging this.

The Pact 2012
I wasn't expecting much from a movie with Casper Van Dien, but I was pleasantly surprised with this little movie. The lead, who I don't recognize from anything else, does an admirable job, especially since she has to carry large chunks of the movie by herself, in silence. Worth a stream or a bargin bin.
