It is a very silly film with a silly premise and even sillier climax, but you can't say it's not fun to watch even though half of the movie is nothing but silly exposition. Paul WS Anderson's direction is surprisingly adequate. Obviously, every shot and every beat is lifted from better movies, but it is kind of well put together. That's something he can't say about his other movies.
