Krull isn't a very good movie even if the beginning gives you an illusion that it will be. In the end it is a messy kids fantasy flick with an underdeveloped script. Yet, it is never boring with a lot of fun moments, great art direction, wonderful anamorphic cinematography. Also, it isn't lacking in imagination even though the basics are pretty much lifted from everything, including Star Wars and LOTR books.
