    American Sniper 2014

    ★★★½ Watched 29 Mar, 2015

A tough war drama about the deadliest sniper in USA by Clint Eastwood. Didn't know Chris Kyle before, but after watching the film I need to know more. As this is a patriotic American film, I cannot help but to think it's quite glamorized and subjective.

Anyway, I liked it, despite the fact Bradley Cooper's accent distracted a bit. Otherwise he fits the role quite well considering the charisma. Great tension, great biography. I can recommend this film.

Pff. Religious propaganda I'd say and I'm more of a Christian than atheist myself. Got really bored with this film. No real arguments and terrible plot holes. Tried to bee too witty, perhaps.

I have to say, I'm a bit disappointed, even though I don't remember the old stories much. Quite predicatble, surging, neutral. Not my cup of tea, as Paddington could say with his bright English.

Interestingly different black comedy. Jude Law makes this film with his surprising role and character. Unexpected, funny.

A great hangover film. Enjoyable, beautiful nature as it is.

Wow. Just wow. This film contains everything I love in a good film: thoght provoking elements, science, time, relationships, good soundtrack, space, good actors (some of my all time favourites like Michael Caine), did I mention time?

I like Matthew and I know he has his haters. Liked the film more than Gravitysta, Guardians of the Galaxy, Transcencende or Her, and I liked them all. In a way this film and its communication part brought up Frequency which is one…

This review reportedly contains spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Got bored with the idea in part two, worse and worse since the first which was really watchable. They are returning with the original story in this one, but it does not manage to appeal too much any more. Predicatble, stupid and what's the point calling this [REC] any more when there is no handheld cameras any longer? watching the old video was pointless since we have all seen it before. Please don't make any more of these. Points for following the original story.

Redmayne is brilliant as Hawking. Really liked this biography, well done. Even Hawking approved, since he gave his voice to the film makers. David Thewlis in school environment brings Remus Lupin to my mind, can't help it. Excellent film.

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies 2014

    ★★★ Watched 09 Mar, 2015

Stretched and dull, yet necessary ending. Really watchable, but got really bored with all the fighting and nonsense discussions in between. Wasn't really surprised in any of the events, learned a long time ago what is going to happen. A bit disappointed, yet good to watch. It was fun while it lasted.

    ★½ Watched 20 Feb, 2015

Robert Englund has been decent in some indie horror films, but the films have been overally quite bad despite the effort. Fear Clinic is no exception. I like Thomas Dekker, but even his performance was joyless. Skippable stuff.

Unique drama-like crime thriller starred by Jake Gyllenhaal. Excellent execution, worth watching, be it only for the originality.

Jennifer Lawrence is still not my favourites, but I liked the film overall. Maybe more than the previous films. Rest in peace Phillip, I guess this was his last film. To be continued.
