    Inside Out 2015

    ★★★★ Watched 22 Nov, 2015

Inside Out is geniously different animation film. It makes you happy, sad, mad at the same time. Really liked the characters and plot, which was perhaps a bit predictable. Had a good time with this film.

  • Ant-Man

    Ant-Man 2015

    ★★★½ Watched 15 Nov, 2015

Ant-Man is a film full of plot holes, but if you stop caring about them, you'll find yourself really entertained. I liked the film, its action and humor in between. Reminds me the good old Honey, I shrunk the kids. Fun movie to watch.

  • Kajaki

    Kajaki 2014

    ★★★★½ Watched 15 Nov, 2015

Wow, easily the best war film since Saving Private Ryan. Really unexpected. Horrifying events very well projected on the screen. Liked the fact there doesn't need to be gunfire between two opponents to make a great war film. Well done description of this unfortunate true story.

    As the Palaces Burn 2014

    ★★★★ Watched 12 Nov, 2015

Been listening to Lamb of God for a long time but didn't exactly know about their past. I spotted the Praque stuff in social media when it happened and was one of the people under #FreeRandy hashtag. It was great to see the trial and the band close by, but even more great to realize how emphatetic the guys actually are. You also rarely see fans stories in music documentaries, so it makes them even more killer dudes. Huge props. Great band and film.

  • The Canal

    The Canal 2014

    ★★★½ Watched 10 Nov, 2015

Surprising low-budget psychological thriller film. Really loved the minimalistic ways to make it exciting instead of all the modern day jump scares. Great acting, well excecuted plot. They should have concentrated more on the outlook and poster, because it took a really long time for me to get watching this. Thought it was going to be very bad, but surprised positively. Recommended.

  • The Gift

    The Gift 2015

    ★★★½ Watched 09 Nov, 2015

I like Jason Bateman in more serious roles like in this film. The Gift is original mystery thriller with great suspenseful atmosphere. Unexpected twists and great good acting. Good job director-actor Joel Edgerton.

  • The Martian

    The Martian 2015

    ★★½ Watched 08 Nov, 2015

This review reportedly contains spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Martian appears to be a disappointment. From Ridley Scott I expected a lot more. Maybe a bit too much I guess. It seems they wrote the script and started making the movie and in some point realised "Houston, we have a problem to get something interesting in between the scenes for viewer to get glued to the screen while he just IS. Alone. And will continue to be. In Mars. Alone."

I got bored while watching him. Nothing thrilling happened…

  • Skyfall

    Skyfall 2012

    ★★★½ Watched 07 Nov, 2015

Witty, entertaining, versatile. Perhaps the best Bond-film ever created. After the Spy Who Loved Me, that is.

  • Starry Eyes

    Starry Eyes 2014

    ★★★½ Watched 02 Nov, 2015

Indie horror gem. Liked the acting, despite the fact only Noah Segan is familiar. Great suspense, awesome soundtrack, original, simple and effective.

All too seen before. Despite the ridiculous stunts, predictableness and Tom, it's overally okay in hangover.

  • Amy

    Amy 2015

    ★★★★ Watched 08 Nov, 2015

Raw portrait of Amy Winehouse's life. I liked the chronologic order and personal touch and especially the fact they had combined successfully recordings, music and videos of Amy's own. One can only think of what was behind of the painful parts of her life though. Great documentary.

  • Minions

    Minions 2015

    ★★★½ Watched 31 Oct, 2015

I love the Minion characters. They are just like my 2 year old son, funny with things, faces and runs away giggling. The film brings nothing spectacular to the table, but is fun to watch with all the family. Little people love them and older people find them funny and interesting enough. Liked it.
