    Big Hero 6 2014

    ★★★★ Watched 31 May, 2015

Entertaining family fun, despite the distracting Erlich Bachman's voice acting. Sympathetic characters, funny humor for adults and kids to enjoy. Can't say much bad things about this film.

    ★★★ Watched 31 May, 2015

Interestingly different. Hugh Jackman and Sigourney Weaver are laughably bad in this film and the more unknown actors were great. Reminds me about District 9, yet retains the originality while borrowing some ideas from another films like Transcendence. Not bad, but a bit over the top towards the end. Overally really watchable, but not sure if worth it. Nice, solid fun.

    Alive Inside 2014

    ★★★★½ Watched 28 May, 2015

After Alive Inside there's no doubt about the significance of the music on people's lives. Really loving the way everything is described in this film. I have grandparents and my wife has grandparents who suffer from dementia so this film touches deeply. Can't remember when I weeped last time this much. Really recommendable documentary gem.

This is sick. Can't put my mind around the subject. The documentary is well done, interviews are sharp and everything takes you right at the center of it.

A well made documentary about one of the most legendary F1 drivers in the world. Really compelling story and blast to the past. Recommended.

Intersting, but silly fantasy horror film. Not very interesting characters or plot. Skippable stuff. Quite watchable though. Luke Evans is not bad at all.

  • The Loft

    The Loft 2014

    ★★★ Watched 03 May, 2015

The Loft is exciting remake of the 2008 belgian film with the same name. Belgian Matthias Schoenaerts is seen in both of the films. Thrilling soap opera drama overall. Unpredictable, but in my opinion a bit too twisty in a sense. Over the top and a bit rushing towards the end. Charismatic names like Karl Urban, James Marsden and Wentworth Miller. Good going, but just good. Nothing too fancy.

Compelling story about fatherhood and war. Very emotional trip indeed. Almost could not bear watching some parts, as a father. Visually great, brilliant acting, great plot. Thrilling, sensitive and even shocking. All emotions well balanced in one movie. Really well done, sir Russell Crowe.

I love Rose Leslie and I loved the acting in this film. However, the plot is confusing and the story way too slow paced. Didn't like the ending either. Sorry,

All seen before. Good acting, but not a very original plot. Liked the spanish. Predictable. Skippable stuff for me.

Having been snowboarding myself I know how dangerous the sport can be. My brother was the one who broke his arm and stuff while doing the tricks, I never wasn't into the tricks for that reason only. Too afraid of heights or accidents. Did not have the self esteem either. 180 was my top trick.

Enough of me, the film was exciting, thrilling and pushed the emotional triggers. We in Finland had our own hero, Pekka Hyysalo with his FightBack…

Thrilling and brutal action-drama film about The Troubles in the 70s. Well described, great atmosphere, compelling snap back to those times. Jack O'Connell delivered again. Recommended for history fans.
