    Project Almanac 2015

    ★★½ Watched 21 Jun, 2015

A typical teenager movie. I love time travel films and expected a lot more. Plot is not the most intelligent out there. Had fun watching, but overally so-so.

    Added to my Time travelling-list.

    Jupiter Ascending 2015

    ★★½ Watched 19 Jun, 2015

I really wanted to like this movie, but the plot and acting seems to be all over the place. I liked Channing Tatum, but hated Eddie Redmayne's over-acting. Lost count how many kidnap-rescue-situations there was. Good scifi-action fun, but as overall film really disappointing.

  • Dumb and Dumber To

    Dumb and Dumber To 2014

    ★★★ Watched 16 Jun, 2015

Maybe expected too much, but Dumb and Dumber To is not nearly as fun as the first classic, but when compared to the sequel before this that nobody remembers (where Eric Christian Olsen played Lloyd) this is pure gem.

Old jokes told in a new way is not very funny, although I still laughed my ass off to some of the twists. Liked watching it, but found it quite boring and most of the time not that funny. Really watchable, and 'just okay', but expected a lot more.

  • Time Lapse

    Time Lapse 2014

    ★★★★ Watched 15 Jun, 2015

Time Lapse is different and minimal, yet effective. A very thrilling scifi film which will keep you on your toes. Did love the mysteriousness and unpredicatble plot. Good acting. Very successful low budget scifi film.

TT3D: Closer to the Edge 2011

    ★★★★ Watched 15 Jun, 2015

And I thought formula were dangerous. Watched in 2D, but it was so compelling it was hard to sit still. Interesting and exciting as a documentary film. Bizarre characters. Didn't know that place to exist, would love to visit there in the future. Really different and unexpected film. Recommended.

  • Ex Machina

    Ex Machina 2015

    ★★★★ Watched 08 Jun, 2015

Interestingly unique approach to quite familiar idea. Loved escpecially the tension in a scifi film. Acting is great, except Oscar Isaac's character is not believable in any level - althought that might be the point. Ex Machina is a film that is very unpredictable, intersting, compelling and thought-provoking. Liked it a lot.

    +1 2013

    ★★★½ Watched 04 Jun, 2015

Interestingly different. Really got me hooked for the whole time. Boobs here and there, but also a theories and mindplays that easily trigger thoughts about what it would be like. Have been having similar dreams some time ago. Thrilling and fun to watch overall.

Added to my Time travelling list.

  • Big Hero 6

    Big Hero 6 2014

    ★★★★ Watched 31 May, 2015

Entertaining family fun, despite the distracting Erlich Bachman's voice acting. Sympathetic characters, funny humor for adults and kids to enjoy. Can't say much bad things about this film.

  • Chappie

    Chappie 2015

    ★★★ Watched 31 May, 2015

Interestingly different. Hugh Jackman and Sigourney Weaver are laughably bad in this film and the more unknown actors were great. Reminds me about District 9, yet retains the originality while borrowing some ideas from another films like Transcendence. Not bad, but a bit over the top towards the end. Overally really watchable, but not sure if worth it. Nice, solid fun.

  • Alive Inside

    Alive Inside 2014

    ★★★★½ Watched 28 May, 2015

After Alive Inside there's no doubt about the significance of the music on people's lives. Really loving the way everything is described in this film. I have grandparents and my wife has grandparents who suffer from dementia so this film touches deeply. Can't remember when I weeped last time this much. Really recommendable documentary gem.

Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief 2015

    ★★★★ Watched 17 May, 2015

This is sick. Can't put my mind around the subject. The documentary is well done, interviews are sharp and everything takes you right at the center of it.
