Rafferty and the Gold Dust Twins 1975
An oddly charming 70s road movie that's been all but forgotten. Glad Warner Archive Instant picked it up and that it can be seen there in its original 2.35 to 1 aspect ratio. Great walk-ons from Alex Rocco, Charles Martin Smith & Harry Dean Stanton.

Don't Bet On Blondes 1935
Former big-time gambler turned outlandish insurance man Warren William agrees to insure Guy Kibbee's daughter(Claire Dodd) against marriage. Hijinks ensue. Enjoyable screwball fair with William playing his typical dashing self.

Mayday at 40,000 Feet! 1976
Unsung, but enjoyable & well-made disaster TV-movie with a great cast. I'm a sucker for this kind of film.

The Space Invaders: In Search of Lost Time 2012
Wonderful tribute to arcades, games and collectors. I am admittedly pretty biased on the film, being not only an arcade game collector, but also a participant in this documentary, but I do feel others who have fond memories of these things will also enjoy it. It's available on Amazon Instsnt should you be interested:

The Shadow 1994
One of several nearly forgotten superhero movies that were lost in the wake of (and surely inspired by) the success of Burton's BATMAN. Could easily be part of a triple bill with THE ROCKETEER and DICK TRACY(this film is an interesting second-fiddle to those two). Ripe for rediscovery especially now. Very interesting to see the Alec Baldwin of 20 years ago through the lens of Jack Donaghy. The film's release on Blu-ray in June is quite welcome. Extra points from…

Like an episode of Degrassi: The College Years - with some killin' thrown in.

Olympus Has Fallen 2013
Higher-budget, straight-to-DVD-esque throwback to the Cannon films of the 1980s & DIE HARD, with a solid cast. A badass night at the movies.

Young Dr. Kildare 1938
My first Kildare film. Part hospital procedural (with Lionel Barrymore as a curmondgeonly Mr. Potter-ish lead doctor) and part detective story with Lew Ayres(the titular Kildare) at the center. Very enjoyable. I'm not the world's biggest Lew Ayres fan, but this movie went a long way to selling me on him. I plan to see more of these.
