I semi-watched Ocean's Eleven the other night, and in doing so was surprised at how short it was and how much plot it manages to squeeze in.
There are parts of Ocean's Thirteen I do like, and I think the overall storyline is a pretty good one. And even though I do laugh at the Casey Affleck side-plot - this film seriously suffers from being overly long to the point where you begin to lose interest.
Something else that I…
The further along it gets, the more it gets undone as it turns out that Carpenter doesn't really know how to finish this story. Sad because it starts out quite promising (the first thirty to forty minutes), or maybe it's just a phase I'm going through that as soon as supernatural elements are revealed I call it lazy and switch off (although, this time I was expecting it! Hmmm).
