This really isn't a comment on the whole film, but an element of the film.
Never before have I noticed such a disconnect between actors playing a younger and older part of a role. Karen Gillan had nothing at all in common (apart from features) with her younger self (Annalise Basso), and I do think this is more bad preparation than something done intentionally (the Tims seemed fine, and believable they were the same character).
What is even more frustrating…
A vast improvement than the sequel both in terms of plot and production. Obviously they got a lot more money for this one and I can say that I am impressed with the way it was spent!
The storyline is one of great relativeness, especially for the demographic the film was aimed at. The end of high school and moving away to college is a big step that changes friendships but most importantly yourself. HSM3 took the time to explore…
