Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind 2004
Heard a lot of people recommend this movie. I started watching it thinking it would be a romance-comedy cliche. But I assure you, while romance is a big part of the movie, it certainly isn't so cliche.
I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this flick from the first minute until the credits roll. Its so good, it immerses you into this wonderful journey of Joel's mind and at the end of it leaving you feeling warm and happy with a touch of sadness. It is what everyone wishes could happen to them. It is what happens in every relationship and life in general.

Enter the Void 2010
The deeper I was into the movie, the more I actually felt like the character, Or that I was on drugs. I've never taken drugs before so I wouldn't know exactly what it feels like. But I imagine if I did, it would feel like this movie.
Its long. To quote Alex, "It really seems like eternity" After about 2 hours into it, I find myself asking "When is this going to end!"

The Matrix 1999
After more than 10 years, this movie still blows my mind. This has to be one of my all time favourite. When it was first released, The Matrix had the most amazing action scenes introduced to Hollywood during that time, borrowing from Bruce Lee movies and chinese kung-fu movies.
Not only that, it has such detailed and deep script writing, Morpheus's Yoda-esque dialog, great cast of characters, most original and unique world and it makes you think if The Matrix could be true. -
Hugo 2011
This movie is so touching in a way that you'd never expect. I was on the verge of crying a few times throughout the film. Scorsese has shown that he not only can do dark and gritty films but also one about love and most importantly his love for films. Also, amazing soundtrack by Howard Shore. And that delicious Chloe <3

The Avengers 2012
Most enjoyable movie I've seen in the longest time. Its not even because it is "epic" or visually stunning or mind blowing. Its just Entertaining like what a movie should be. Joss didn't try to copy Nolan's Batman, he went the complete opposite direction (in a good way).
The movie is so fun to watch, entertaining, and appealing to all ages. whether you like sooperhero movies or not, this will make you feel like you're a 10 yr old kid… -
Chronicle 2012
I don't know why I have never heard of this movie or seen ads or trailers about it before. But sometimes, its the movies that don't get much attention that is the gems in the haystack. This is definitely one of those.
Its not exactly your average Teenage Superhero save the day type of film. If you like superhero films however, you should definitely watch this. If you don't still give it a try, Its worth it. -
Johnny Mnemonic 1995
Sub par movie. Was in a mood to watch cyber punk movies and this was recommended so I gave it a go. Didn't like Keanu Reeves performance and story wasn't mind blowing. Look elsewhere if you want a really good cyber punk movie.

Equilibrium 2002
Its SO GOOD!! I was in a mood to watch cyber punk movies and came across this classic. Wasn't expecting much at first but was totally blown away! Great character development and storyline. But most of all those kungfu moves put Matrix to shame!

Midnight in Paris 2011
Not exactly the love story I expected it to be. A movie that has many teaching and the one that I really understood was to be content with what you have. Good movie when you're bored, not exceptionally great.
