Eky’s review:
2001: A Space Odyssey is, in my opinion, the most important motion picture of the 1960s and one of the greatest pieces of art ever crafted. This film beautifully chronicles many opinions, insights, ideas and thoughts that shaped mankind as we know it and I believe not many have ever come close to really attempting to explore the path which mankind has taken to improve their lives. The awesome visual, the genius film direction, Stanley Kubrick’s mind have all contributed such a great feeling and sensation, I’m totally speechless to realize that this film really is inspiring. This film contains the most powerful, beautiful, and most horrifying images ever put on film. It is, without a doubt, the best and most realistic film ever made since the beginning of cinema. This film tells us is that we are intelligent because we're human, that intelligence is not only constitutional but also our feature our main tool, and we should try to find the best use for such intelligence.
