Lethal Weapon 4 1998 ★★★

Reviewed Jul 23, 2012

After 6 long years finally the gang is back, kicking ass like they have always done. The bad guy is now Wah Sing Ku (Jet Li's first Hollywood film), a Chinese Triad leader charged for illegal slave-trading as well as money counterfeiting. Despite their old age, both Mel Gibson and Danny Glover were able to deliver their usual hilarious and heroic acts. They kept on saying 'we're too old for this' in some of the scenes, something that I wish not an indication of their last LW installment. The supporting roles, Chris Rock (Lee Butters) as Murtaugh's son in law and Joe Pesci (Leo Getz) were somehow able to add the fun to this film. IMO, LW 4 is totally entertaining and that's it.
