Serpico 1973

Eky’s review:
Frank Serpico was an undercover police officer from NYPD who tried hard to keep his integrity and honesty despite the trending corruption that surrounded the precinct where he worked. Frank Serpico is the best example of a role model who had to suffer because of his honesty, a person who had to swallow the bitter pill because of his friends' deception. He's a casualty of war that happened among his own colleagues. Sometimes it is hard to stay clean in a dirty spot. I bow to Al Pacino's great portrayal as Serpico, a person whom his colleagues should have been honored and not murdered. Serpico is a great film once again, a film that reveals the sick morality of the enforcers, the people who are supposed to serve and protect the innocents
