Completely crazy, over the top, and I struggled to believe the storyline but what fun. Monica Bellucci looking good for her age, and the great Paul Giamatti doing what he does best. Yeah I did like this film.

Watched this one rainy afternoon and lets be honest we have had plenty of them in good old blighty! I enjoyed, didn't force me to thing to hard , just sit back and watch Guy Pearce act like John McClane in space - yipee ki-yay

The original was brilliant, so why Hollywood remake? With David Fincher involved it had a chance, and it took it with both hands. Is this Fincher's best work since SE7EN? I think so! This film is so close to the original they could be related with the same locations trotted out again and again. This version does lack the mystery of the original and is more character driven with fine performances from Daniel craig, Rooney Mara and Stellan Skarsgard. The chemistry between Craig and Mara is instrumental in making putting this film up there with the original. It deserves it's four out of five from me.

An extra half a star because I am a sentimental old fool when it comes to animals in films. A good solid British cast and great cinematography assist Mr Spielberg in a typical film from him, he knows how to pull on your heart strings. Several criticisms but one in particular, why did the Germans go after those brothers when they are about to embark on a huge battle, would they really have put those resources into looking for them?? And after watching them ride and ride for what seemed like days how they hell did they know where to find them!!
