Passion Play 2010

I don't know how you can manage to make a film with such a good cast as dull as dishwater, but somehow managed here. MIckey Rourke's drug and alcoholic trumpet player (glad he's not getting too stereotyped as he gets older) tries to find salvation in Megan Fox's Angel, whilst trying to avoid the clutches of a great Bill Murray's gangster. There's nothing wrong with the acting from any of the prinicipals but the director does not seem to understand how to pace the film, it's not long but seems to last forever, and the stupid twist at the end cheapens the film even more. If you are not poking your eyes out with spoons that day, then this film might just be for you.
