It might not be the same fresh breath of air the original “Evil Dead” was, but it’s still has some lovely and original gore and a few nice throwbacks to the original 2 movies.
P.S. Be sure to stay thru the credits.

I’m surprised that Bay actually made this movie seeing as he’s busy making big budget action movies for twelve year olds.
It might not be a masterpiece or even a very good movie, but it’s still a decent one. The movie has its moments, but those are overshadowed by some weird drama scenes and a really awkward pacing. Also, this movie is 100% comedy and with all the penis jokes it’s really hard to take it seriously. And one more thing - true story my a**.
