I saw the "Guardians of the Galaxy" at the European preview today and was pleasantly surprised! Sometimes the whole cinema was laughing and applauding because it was so funny.
The effects and (of course) the music of the 80's wasn't new, but together with some good jokes quite good used to let us have a nice evening.
I thought it would be a bad film of Marvel, but they put me right! Probably the funniest movies I saw in cinema…
"A couple with a newborn baby face unexpected difficulties after they are forced to live next to a fraternity house."
-that's the whole story and the rest of the movie is comedy in long known Seth Rogan manner, improvised and crazy!
You'll like it or hate it, there is nothing in between!
For me it was an entertaining cinema visit with friends; neither more nor less.
I do not agree with Roger Ebert's rating of zero stars, because the movie is well played by Kevin Spacey and Kate Winslet, but his point of criticism is justified. He wrote in his critic about the movie: "I am sure the filmmakers believe their film is against the death penalty. I believe it supports it and hopes to discredit the opponents of the penalty as unprincipled fraudsters."
What a pity! Nothing more to say.
