I really liked this film, although it's just an average movie, on a artistic point of view.

It has a bold topic, and it turns neither to dramatic nor to funny. So it is good balanced execpt for the ending where it's getting to much gooey.
But you can realize, where the movie doesn't know where it wants to go. The topic is to complex, and just before it dives in to one aspect, it turns away.

Ohne Frage, Argo ist ein guter Film. Er erzählt eine spannende Geschichte, ist handwerklich gut gemacht und zeigt ordentliche schauspielerische Leistungen. Die guten Kritiken erhält der Film zu Recht, wenngleich ich ihn nicht für einen "herausragenden" Film halte.

No, it's not a poor Movie, but it fails to be a good movie. Like a pole jumper who is able to jump the six Meter on a perfect day, but this wasn't one of these days.
Let's begin with the camera. Filming with a handheld cam may be a good option, but it is not, if you choose to do so because it might be "cool". At some point the shaky cam just is annoying, particulary in the scenes…
