I wish James Cameron would make other people's scripts, or at least realize he can't do everything and hire someone to help with his crappy screenplays. He puts amazing images up on the screen and makes bank at the box office, but until he gets a great story his movies are just going to be good pop-corn flicks. It's really sad that for all the money spent (and the amazing technology created) they couldn't have just had someone sit down and give the script a good once over.

I remember seeing this when I was 15 and it blew me away. I think this was the first sub-titled movie I fell in love with, where I got over the roadblock of "its in another language I need to READ!?" and just got totally absorbed in the story.

This literally might be my favorite movie... I'm not sure why I love it and realize it has some flaws. But ever since I was a little kid I've loved it.

It probably helps that I loved the book prior to seeing the movie. Or the fact that Jodi Foster just seems so smart and doesn't give a shit what people think. Or maybe it was the first movie that really left me thinking about what could be out there.…

I remember watching this movie when I was 11... it felt wrong then and it still feels a bit wrong now. I still randomly hear Sarah Michelle Gellar say "I'll fuck your brains out" in my head every 3 days or so I'd say it's stuck with me...

2.5 solely for Melissa McCarthy, who carried this movie as long as she could, but it eventually fell off course.

This was filmed in my home town! Our high school had a class that ran a coffee shop and we got to supply the cast & crew with coffee during the shoot. I also worked for the school newspaper and got to "interview" Charlize Theron for an article we posted about the movie — and by interview I mean barely asked 2 questions.

I realized I haven't said anything about the movie itself, I hear it might have been nominated for some academy awards or something.
