Films I'm considering suggesting for Dirk's upcoming list. (War films not included)
Red Cliff is a must!
Never seen Red Cliff, but it looks good. Should I watch the US Theatrical version or the much longer International cut?
Oh Amadeus for sure. Have you seen the director's cut?
I think I have (it's been a couple years now)--it's one of my favorite films.
If you've seen the scene where she takes her clothes off, then you've seen the director's cut. It's amazing how time seems to just speed up while watching it. Three hours are gone in no time.
Yes, that sounds familiar; I think a got it on DVD as soon as it came out -- it's one of my top films of all time. So good!
ONLY watch the original extended uncut international version of Red Cliff.
