This follow up to the extremely well done "Batman Begins" surpasses it, mainly due to the performance of Heath Ledger as The Joker. He brought a creepy, psychotic edge to the character that stopped short of caricature (hello, Jack Nicholson). It runs a bit long and loses steam towards the end, but overall, another awesome Batman film.
