Spaceballs 1987
Don't ask me why I watched this recently. I remember it to be much funnier than it is. Funny how memories work. This film certainly doesn't age well. Despite the numerous spoof on some of the great sci-fi classics such as Star Wars and Planet of the Apes (the original), Spaceballs feels like a hodge podge of sketches glued together in an attempt to be a coherent storyline. In the end these did nothing much except incite a few odd chuckles here and there.
Don't watch it if you don't want your memory of Spaceballs spoilt. Mine already did.

With all the hatred from critics and casual movie-goer that's been pouring in even before the movie hits the theatre, it's easy to dismiss John Carter. Having watched it last week in 3-D, I say go watch it and decide for yourself. It's not as bad a movie as everyone is claiming it to be.
