Films that are carried by high concept plots or actors that really step up to the plate because we sure as hell aren't going anywhere.

The Shit List:
I was trying to think of other films that fit the criteria, and I'm not sure about this does but figured I'd recommend it anyway: . Few locations, few characters, very little... well, anything, but the four leads reaaaally step up to the plate. Definitely recommend it!
Oh. Apparently you can't use hyperlinks in comments. Nor can you edit or delete comments. Ugh.
Anyway, the film: Doubt.
I still haven't seen Doubt even though I've been meaning to for ages. Someone else suggested David Fincher's Panic Room.
Just remembered: Hard Candy. Literally only five people in the cast, and most of it is just Ellen Page and Patrick Wilson in one location. Also, Moon - Sam Rockwell carries the entire film on his own (well, Kevin Spacey voices a computer), isolated on a spaceship.
Both great films, both fit the bill!
