Steve Grzesiak’s review:
Australia's other horror film about people in peril from a marauding croc, except the one in Rogue is quite a bit bigger. And the recipient of some significantly crapper CGI.
It's also more notable for a cast that impressively chucks Radha Mitchell, Mia Wasikowska, Michael Vartan and Sam Worthington at you, making it somewhat starrier than your usual non-Hollywood horror caper. They do help to elevate the simple story of a boat-load of sightseers being stalked by a massive crocodile to a slightly higher level.
It's not as taut as Black Water but it also doesn't drag as much as that film. Both of them suffer from poor endings, having said that, but like Black Water this is quite an entertaining monster movie whose only major crime is to not give the great John Jarratt more to do.
