Steve Grzesiak’s review:
Somehow, I ended up watching this trilogy backwards. It still didn't make a great deal of sense.
It's certainly the weakest of the trilogy as well. It's a film filled with startling images and some excellent black comedy but frustrates for the most part by refusing to tell what could have been a good story properly.
A nice twist at the end rescues it a little bit, and I liked the question marks over who we are supposed to have sympathy with, but once again I felt that Park Chan Wook has let a potentially great film slip through his fingers here. Pretty decent, though.
