My daughter asked to go and see this, and I'm glad I did. It's a very long time since I last watched this film. I had no lasting memory of it, bar the scene of them running down the beach to the music.

The cast is very good, the script is good and the story is engaging. I was disappointed with the score though, except for the opening scene and the "chariots of fire" piece, the rest was pretty poor!

We both really enjoyed it!
